Trauma Informed Team Management Programme 2026

Overview

Our Trauma Informed Team Management Programme provides an opportunity to explore the theory and concepts of trauma informed team management and provides an opportunity to receive support from peers.

Programme Structure

The Programme consists of an in-person training day in Oxford (Wednesday 28 January, 2026) and six online Action Learning Sets (February - July 2026), providing a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers to solve challenges faced when managing a team.

Who is it for?

For managers who have operational and line managerial responsibility to support teams who are working with people who have experienced trauma and you will have accountability for delivering a trauma-informed service.

How can this programme support you to develop your team management skills?

  •  Managing teams is a complex task, and managing in a way that is trauma-informed needs thought, reflection, skill and support. This programme will provide you with the foundation and processes to implement trauma informed team management.

  • Finding the balance between the needs of the organisation and the needs of the people you manage needs to be navigated. This programme will support you to find this balance.

  • Having an opportunity to explore with peers through action learning can support you to be an even better leader. This programme provides the space for reflection with others in similar roles to yourself, helping you to find solutions together.

The Trauma Informed Team Management Programme is for managers who:
