If the justice system exists to rehabilitate people towards fulfilling lives free from crime, it can only do this if it recognises, understands, and responds to trauma.

Through our work we see first-hand that many women who come into contact with the criminal justice system have experienced extensive trauma.

Our flagship residential community, Hope Street, will provide a blueprint for the positive impact a trauma informed approach can have for women and their children.
