Laurie Hunte

Laurie is Senior Impact Manager at Mission 44, responsible for leading its work to build a more inclusive education system.

Prior to working at Mission 44, Laurie led The Barrow Cadbury Trust’s Transition to Adulthood programme which focused on developing age-appropriate support for 18 to 25 year olds in the justice system. Laurie says ‘we cannot underestimate the need to understand the experiences of people in the criminal justice system, the work of One Small Thing enables women and their children to get the support they need to move forward with their lives’.

Prior to working as a grant funder Laurie was a civil servant for 13 years working for the Ministry of Justice, The Home Office and the Department of Education.
