Sarah Smith

Sarah is the Policy Manager at One Small Thing. In her role she works to build One Small Thing’s external profile and influence through policy, research and communications work.

Before joining One Small Thing Sarah worked for Refuge, the largest domestic abuse service provider in the UK, where she provided project development support for the National Domestic Abuse Helpline. She was also previously Project Coordinator at The Forgiveness Project where she worked on a number of the charity’s initiatives, including their award winning prison programme.

Sarah is also a 2024 Churchill Fellow - her research focusing on support for women impacted by the justice system in Canada, Germany and Finland.
