Update on Hope Street

Written by Jane Smith, Community Director for Hope Street

The demolition of the disused buildings on the Hope Street site has now been completed and we are ready to progress to the next stage, with the first groundworks due to start in mid-June. We are progressing our interior designs ready for the building fit-out early next year and are now making more detailed decisions around furnishings and fittings, kitchen designs and what our Hope Street Café will look like, which is all very exciting. We are continuing to work closely with our key stakeholders to develop partnership arrangements that will underpin and enhance the support we will be offering for women and children when Hope Street opens in 2022.
